Mindfulness Therapy was developed by our founder/therapist Ms Karla Wilson. Karla is a qualified psychotherapist with a Bachelor of Counselling and Diploma of Counselling, majoring in Counselling Clients with Addiction and Mindfulness Counselling. She values living a holistic lifestyle to support her own health and well-being. She is experienced in using various therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , Narrative Therapy (NT) and uses the biopsychsocial model to identify the interconnection between the biology, psychology and socio-environmental factors that impact the life of an individual, couple or family.
